I use the z client, but a is as slow and crappier. When i enter web.telegram.org into my browsers (chromium) address bar, it always directs to telegram k or z, whichever i used last But i never directs to the classic one I've deleted cookies and website data, but it still directs to one of the new versions, so i think it's saved on the server.
It has more to do with overall traffic, not just yours
