Do i need to install drivers for the motherboard thank you! Hi, building my new pc and just wondering after all the windows 11 updates are done, which if any drivers should i install from the motherboard page This is unfortunately not working for me (asrock z590 velocita).uninstalled, shut down, unplug power, cleared cmos by holding clear cmos button for 10s, booted windows, it automatically reinstalled drivers because wireless and bluetooth was good to go.
My mobo (asrock b550m pro4) and gpu (asrock phantom gaming rx 5500 xt)seem to have different drivers on the asrock website and amd website
I'm looking at the chipset drivers on mobo and everything on the gpu Is there a general rule about where to get the drivers in this scenario? Asrock b450m gaming i got my pc prebuilt from cyberpowerpc and i don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing but i'm just curious if that's the reason why i cant find a bios update for the motherboard on the asrock website. Audio drivers, you could probably pull from any b550 asrock motherboard support site as i'm fairly certain that microatx b550 boards on oem all use the alc 887/897 audio chipset
Ethernet/lan, generally oems will use the realtek rtl8111 for that, so you can pull it from the realtek reference driver site. Took me sometime to find the drivers manually since asrock website doesn't seem to have the drivers in one place Sharing it here in hope it can help some others.
