I replaced avg with avast and it cleaned more off but some problems still lingered including complete blocking of some websites and hanging when attempting web searches using anything (yahoo, google, etc.) The problem seems to have originated with either a trojan.agent or more likely because it showed up most recently, trojan.hanam. Question topic 2 and this is a big one And please don't judge me
I was looking up some porn lesbians etc stumbled onto a site and a pop up came up claiming that my computer is detained and i seen it said my ip address it had a photo of obama or whatever and some weird s**t saying it's not autoritzed and i seen it say child porn on the pop up. When you share an ip address with many malicious websites you run the risk of being blocked by a general ip block, as might be the case here
Final verdict is up to an avast team member as they can exclude domains from a general ip block We cannot as we are volunteers with relevant knowledge and expertise, so we can only advise. It is really disappointed since i have uninstalled and clean out with ccleaner (remove registry regarding to avast) and reinstalled avast pro 5.0 Problem is still the same
