A nas complaining about security issues.kodi itself does not use port 22 when you use nfs as the file protocol for video sources I noticed that the slyguy common addon also has options to enable/disable h.265/hdr10/dv etc Why would you use an '*' in nfs settings for the video folder

I’m a bit confused about a dlna server I know you can run some on a nas like plex or jellyfin I thought kodi could be a server but some say no it’s a player Is it a server and if so how would one use it

This is (mostly) preventing me from installing addons due to missing dependencies
I've kind of gotten around that by manually installing dependencies from this location, but it's kind of a pain I'm talking about common packages like plugin.googledrive and script.module.*, etc.how can i manually install the kodi. It works great, so far Tried it on coreelec, kodi 18.5
